About the Longarm Quilter
My name is Teresa Yonce, and I live in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia on a rural farm near Seneca Rocks. Quilting is a passion I have had most of my life. It began at the feet of my mother, who hand quilted and occasionally went by the name Snowbird. I was hooked after seeing my own quilt longarmed way back in the late 90's.
I sew full time every day doing longarm quilting for others and making quilts of my own. I love preserving the handwork created by quilters and keeping the Appalachian heritage of quilting alive. Every single quilt matters. I love them all and treat them as if they were my own.
About Snowbird Quilts
in Seneca Rocks, West Virginia
I created Snowbird Quilts in 2015 to end the long wait time between finishing your quilt top and having a completed quilt. No more waiting months! I have two longarm Gammill machines with Statler stitcher computers and a 14 foot table. My machines are in a dedicated clean, dry, odor-free studio space. Upon receiving your quilt top, I will call or text you to discuss expectations, return dates, stitching pattern, thread, and batting choices. My return times will surprise you, I promise!
