Pricing for Longarm Quilting Services
Standard Longarm Quilting Fees:
-
Penny and a half ($0.015) per square inch for edge to edge quilting, for most E2E pattern choices.
-
$12 setup fee: includes thread needed to quilt it. I wind all my own bobbins to match the fabrics. No additional bobbin charges. Exceptions quilts over 70" will be charged $20 to cover the costs of threads.
-
Small projects (table runners, wall hangings, place mats, small quilts, etc.) have a minimum charge of $35 + the setup fee of $12 (call to discuss exceptions) use the same backing to save $ on setups.
Optional Longarm Quilting Fees:
- I will trim the quilt for $5, unless you tell me not to trim. I return all scraps with the finished quilt. I do not keep any of your supplies, trimmings, etc.
- If you want me to bind your quilt, I charge .10 cents per inch to make and sew the binding on top side of quilt (max $35 per quilt). Send in your binding fabric or purchase it from my stash. I prefer to make the binding myself, its included in the fee.
- I charge $5 per seam to sew customer-provided backing fabrics together. I have wide backs on hand for you to purchase to complete your quilt, priced at $10-13 per yard. to see what is available text me picture of quilt top.
- Anne Bright patterns are usually included in per inch fees. Unless you choose a hard to sell pattern, there is no additional charge for stitch patterns.
Additional Labor Fees:
-
Customer-provided backing fabrics that are unique (sheets, denim, flannel, panels, minky and woven fabrics, or pieced backs) require additional labor to align and to keep seams straight. I charge a $5-15 fee depending on the time required and size of quilt.
-
Quilt tops that contain cross stitch, appliqué, shirts, vintage fabrics, etc., require additional attention to quilt and therefore a $5-$15 fee is charged depending on labor hours.
-
When I find necessary repairs in quilt tops (a seam is found open, a border is too wavy, or a block is turned wrong, etc.), I will always repair it, no questions asked. Both the customer and I want the quilt to withstand the test of time. These repairs are done and invoiced.
-
If the back provided is too narrow for the quilt top, I will sew scraps to the sides and quilt it. A $5 charge per seam will be invoiced.
-
I will always remove selvages from 45" fabrics sewn together to make a wide back because it will shrink and ruin your quilt. A $5 charge will be invoiced.
