Pricing & Supplies

Standard Edge-to-Edge Quilting:

• 1.5 cents per square inch: most stitching patterns included at no extra cost

• Setup fee: $5 for quilts under 69” wide, $10 for quilts 70” and over (covers thread and bobbins)

• Small projects (table runners, wall hangings, etc.): minimum charge applies, contact me for details

• Pressing & Repairs: Excessive pressing (over 15 minutes) or seam repairs may incur a small additional fee

 

Optional Services:

• Trimming: $5 per quilt (all scraps returned)

• Binding: 10 cents per inch to make and machine sew binding on the top side (no maximum charge). Send your binding fabric or purchase from my stash!

• Finished Binding: having your binding finished, by turning the binding to the back side of the quilt and hand-sewing, is an additional 20 cents per inch and requires an additional two weeks before return. This is the final step to having a complete, finished quilt.

• Backing Fabric Seams: $5 per seam to sew customer-provided backing fabrics together. Wide backing fabric is available for purchase.

• Backing Adjustments: If your backing is too narrow, I can add fabric strips ($5 per seam). Ensure your backing is at least 10 inches wider and longer than your quilt top.

 

Specialty & Additional Labor Fees:

• Pressing: Excessive pressing (over 15 minutes) may incur a small additional fee

• Quilt Repairs: If seams are open, borders are wavy, or blocks are misaligned, additional fees for repairs will apply.

• Unique Backings such as sheets, denim, flannel, pieced backs, etc., require extra care. 

• Complex Quilt Tops such as cross-stitch, appliqué, t-shirts, vintage fabrics, etc., may require additional programming time.
